đ„ A Sweet New Easter Design: Meet My Chicken in a Bonnet Digital Stamp
There is something so special about spring⊠the soft colors, the fresh start, and those little designs that just make you smile. Today Iâm so excited to share one of my newest creationsâa sweet little chicken in a bonnet digital stamp that I truly fell in love with while drawing. From her gentle expression to the tiny details in her bonnet, this design was all about capturing that light, joyful feeling of the season.
Every design I create for JessicaLynnOriginal starts with a simple sketch and a whole lot of heart. This one was inspired by everything I love about springâpastels, florals, and that cozy handmade charm that brings art to life. As I worked on her, I kept imagining all the ways she could be used⊠and thatâs when I knew she needed to be a digital stamp.
Digital stamps are one of my favorite ways to create because they give you complete freedom. You can download them instantly, resize them to any size, print them as many times as youâd like, and experiment without worrying about making mistakes. If something doesnât turn out the way you hoped, you simply print another and try again. It makes crafting more relaxing, more fun, and so much more accessible.
Getting started is easyâjust download your image, print it on cardstock, and start coloring. If you donât have a printer at home, you can always send it to a local print shop or bring it on a flash drive. Once printed, the possibilities are endless. I love using Copic markers for soft blends, but colored pencils, crayons, or even watercolor all work beautifullyâespecially if youâre crafting with kids.
This little chicken is perfect for so many projects. You can turn her into a handmade Easter card, add her to a gift tag, use her in a planner, or print multiple copies for a fun kids coloring activity. Thatâs what I love mostâthese designs become more than just art⊠they become part of your moments, your memories, and your creativity.
If youâre new here, Iâm Jessica, the artist behind JessicaLynnOriginal, and Iâve been creating hand-drawn designs for over 21 yearsâa milestone Iâm celebrating this April 1st. What started as a love of drawing has grown into something so much bigger, and I am incredibly grateful to share that journey with you.
I also bring these designs to life over on my YouTube channel, ArtistryinCards, where I share card making tutorials, coloring tips, and creative inspiration. Itâs a space where we can create together, learn together, and just enjoy the process.
This little chicken in a bonnet is more than just a new designâitâs a reminder to slow down, create something with your hands, and enjoy the small, happy moments that come with it.
Thank you for being here, for supporting handmade art, and for being part of this creative journey with me. đđ„đž
